Jobs at the Center

The Center was established to help New York based unions, community organizations and policy advocates develop an ambitious shared policy agenda to improve the lives of New York's working families, and strategize together to achieve it. The Center benefits from our close working relationships with organizations with strong and diverse constituencies across the State, and is uniquely positioned to connect good ideas, citizens who care about them, and policy makers.

Our recent work includes promoting the creation of a Paid Family Leave program for all New Yorkers; developing an ambitious proposal to retrofit millions of homes across the State – saving energy and money while creating quality green jobs; and laying out plans to make the New York State tax system fairer and more progressive.
